Raissa said, 1 in 3 people were obese, while in men 1 in 5 people. This figure also reinforces previous data regarding an increase in body weight in both women and men.
"The trend of obesity rates is increasing. Data on monitoring nutritional status over the age of 18, those who are obese are around 40.4 percent," he said.
Obesity or excess weight is the beginning of the emergence of chronic diseases and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and hypertension.
